Co-supervised by Dr Daniel Graham and Dr Panagiotis Angeloudis, Vivek joined the TSL in February 2023 to undertake doctoral research. His research focuses on the development of synthetic populations for transport digital twins.

Vivek was awarded a B.Tech in Civil engineering from Symbiosis International University (Pune, India) in 2017 & scored 99.3 percentile in GATE exam 2017. He then received a M.Tech degree with First Division with Distinction in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IITR), India in 2020. He has published 6 research papers (3 Peer-reviewed Journals, 3 Conferences including TRB) as a first author based on his Masters’ thesis.
